16 Speed Queen Washers
Ten 40 pound, four 60 pound, and two 80 pound Quantum Touch machines, all stainless and all brand new. You rarely wait for one.
20 High-Efficiency Dryers
Eighteen 55 pound and two 75 pound gas dryers. $1.50 buys 18 minutes on a 55, and a typical load finishes in about 18.
Fully Softened Water
Hot and cold both run through a softener, with on-demand gas water heaters. Hard Magic Valley water will not leave your clothes stiff here.

Machines for everything, even the bulky stuff
We run 16 brand new stainless Speed Queen Quantum Touch washers: 10 at 40 pounds, 4 at 60 pounds, 2 at 80 pounds. The 80 pound machines handle just about anything that is machine washable per its care tag, including king comforters, sleeping bags, and area rugs.
On the drying side there are 20 high-efficiency gas dryers: 18 at 55 pounds and 2 at 75 pounds.

Softened water and hot water that does not run out
Every drop in the building, hot and cold, runs through a softener, and the hot water comes from on-demand gas water heaters. In the Magic Valley that matters. Hard water leaves clothes stiff and makes detergent work harder than it should. Almost nobody around here advertises it, but you can feel the difference in the laundry.

Pay and Monitor from Your Phone
Every washer and dryer here is connected to the Speed Queen app. Check what is free before you leave the house, start a machine from your phone, watch the time left on your cycle, and get a notification when your laundry is done. Paying through the app also skips the 25 cent Scan to Pay surcharge. When the app asks for a location code, enter JEROME.

Free WiFi throughout the building
Join the Jerome Handywash network with the password handywash. It is TDS Fiber gigabit, 1024 Mbps down and 1024 up, which is plenty to stream something while you wait. Coverage reaches the folding tables and the far corners, and the guest network is isolated from the payment and camera systems.
