What you send us stays yours

There is nothing to post publicly on this site and no account to make, so the only user content you ever send us is what goes into the contact form, including any photo you attach. It stays yours. By sending it you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it for one purpose only, which is answering you and sorting out whatever you wrote to us about. That licence ends when the matter is closed. We will not put a photo you sent us on this website, on our social media, or anywhere else public without asking you first and getting a yes.

Your side of it

Use the machines the way the instructions on them describe, keep an eye on children while you are here, and do not leave laundry unattended overnight. You agree to indemnify us against claims that arise because you used a machine in a way it was not meant to be used, or because something you put into a machine damaged it or damaged somebody else’s belongings.

Ending it: termination

This is the termination clause, in plain words. You can stop using this website or the laundromat at any time, for any reason, and you do not owe us an explanation. We can ask somebody to leave, or refuse service, if they are damaging the machines, harassing other customers, or using the store as somewhere to sleep rather than somewhere to do laundry. We can also block access to this website from anything abusing it, which in practice means scraping it into the ground rather than reading it.

If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Call (208) 420-6328 or email help@jeromehandywash.com. Almost everything that goes wrong in a laundromat, a machine that took your money and did not start, a door that will not open, a load that came out wrong, is something we can put right ourselves, and we would rather do that than argue about it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. If talking to us genuinely does not resolve it, you are not being pushed into private arbitration and you are not giving up your right to bring a claim. Idaho small claims court exists for disputes this size, it is inexpensive, and neither of us needs a lawyer to use it. That is the honest venue for a disagreement between a customer and a small laundromat.
